Robotic Welding - ZAKO Turčín

The company ZAKO Turčín, spol. s.r.o. is an engineering company that deals with custom locksmithing. We have an extensive machine park, at the head of which is the new seven-axis welding robot IGM 477-S, with which we perform robotic welding up to a size of 6000 mm and a weight of 4000 kg. The welding robot allows us to create strong and permanent joints, which makes welding of high quality and precision. Compared to other machines that provide robotic welding, the IGM 477-S type is faster and has a better range. It also creates thermodynamic conditions enabling the formation of strong interatomic bonds. It is thus possible to weld metallic and non-metallic materials with the same or different properties. Thanks to robotic welding, errors are eliminated thanks to a pre-programmed program. The whole process is precise and highly efficient – the speed of progress is up to 30 % higher than with classic welding dependent on a person. Since it is CNC welding, this process can be repeated over and over again with the same exact result, with a minimum of waste material, which guarantees the efficient production.
